Bombs and Blizzards

Sorry we missed our post yesterday - mum had to work all night.  She got called into work, and there was a police cordon, as there was a bomb scare.  The policemen had to stand out in the rain, and they did eventually let mum sneak into work to help out her patients.  Mum then helped her doctor sneak out the back door, and they never heard any more details!

The papers and the tv news are warning us that a blizzard is on its way up from Antartica Sunday evening.  So mum has been to the supermarket and stocked up, and got all the quilts on the bed.  We'll keep you filled in with what happens!!

  3. That's way too much "excitement," Poppy. That bomb scare would be just that...scary! We're glad all is okay.

We're cross our paws that the blizzard tracks away from you. Stay warm and safe!

  4. My goodness! Bombs and Blizzards! I hope things quiet down for you and that the blizzard is not too much. Snow is tough to have in places that don't have the right kind of road clearing equipment. Mom was hearing stories from peope who live in Atlanta, Georgia, where it seldom snows - when they had snow this past winter, everything froze over and it was really bad. Good luck to you!
