Weather Bomb

Apparently there is a "Weather Bomb" heading our way with a big parcel of wind and rain from across the Tasman.  Mum went out and got the chores done after work so that everything is organised and she doesn't have to do it tomorrow.

We are sure whatever weather we get is nothing compared to how chilly it is in the Northern Hemisphere.   We just don't seem to get more than two fine days in a row. Traditionally February has good weather, just as the kids head back to school.

  2. I've never heard of a weather bomb here either! I'm sure we get them - in fact, I think we had one just before Christmas - but they don't seem to have a name for it here.

  3. Hello Poppy Q. Yes I heard about the weather bomb coming .... I am happy to have the rain to give the garden a good drink but I don't enjoy those awful strong winds. I think you look so happy & beautiful in your meadow photos in the last post Poppy Q :-)

  4. Batten down the hatches, so to speak, and stay safe and cosy.

We have freezing rain coming today and/or tonight, so it could be quite dangerous going home. Mother Nature certainly is all-powerful!

  5. Inconstant weather can be just as bad as sustained poor weather. It must make planning for anything difficult. But at least you have some warning.

  7. We had some bad weather here. High winds, hard rain and tornadoes! We did not have any damage, but the thunder rattled the windows a couple of times and scared Kirby and Max. Angel ignored it!

  12. Stay warm and dry Poppy and mum! We are having above freezing temps here this week...quite the change from the -40 last Thursday. Maybe we'll even get out in our sunny room this weekend.
